From the South:
From Perth you have a choice of the A9 through the Highlands or the A90 along the coast to Dundee and Aberdeen.
A9 route
Follow the A9 towards Inverness to the A95. Turn right onto the A95 towards Elgin/Keith. Follow the A95 to the A941 beyond Aberlour. Take the A941 to Rothes then the B9015 to Mosstodloch. There you take the A96 towards Aberdeen to the A98.
Just before the junction of the A98/A942 (signposted to Buckie) turn right on the Drybridge Road. Follow the road for 2.5 miles up the hill, past the turn off to Drybridge village. Immediately past the old Monastery turn right onto the farm road signposted Maryhill and Birchfold. The log cabins will be on your left.
A90 route
Take the A90 towards Aberdeen, bypassing Aberdeen, to join the A96 towards Inverness. Follow the road all the way to Fochabers then turn right onto the A98 towards Buckie. Follow the directions above to the log cabins.
